HAYLE PENWITH U3A:
Hayle U3A has the following programme this week. Today, Thursday December 17, at 10am there is In the News; then at 12:30pm the U3A Christmas lunch takes place at Tehidy Golf Club. All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre. The Writing is held in Hayle Library.
ANGARRACK COFFEE MORNING:
Angarrack's last fortnightly coffee morning of 2015 takes place this Friday, December 18, between 10am and noon at the Angarrack Community Centre. This is a special Christmas gathering in aid of Meningitis Now. There will be a raffle, mince pies and a bring & buy stall. All welcome. The next coffee morning will be on Friday January 15.
HAYLE FLOWER CLUB:
Wishes all members old and new a Happy Christmas and New year.
CORNWALL COUNCILLORS:
John Pollard and John Coombe will not be holding their usual first Saturday of the month surgery on January 2 2016.
ST ELWYN’S CHURCH:
On Sunday December 20, the fourth Sunday of Advent the Parish Eucharist will be celebrated by the Reverend Sharon Clifton at 9.30 am. On Wednesday December 23, Said Eucharist will be celebrated by the Reverend Sharon Chalcraft at 10 am. On Thursday December 24, Christmas Eve, the mass will be at 9pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after each service.
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL:
From this Sunday December 20 until Wednesday December 23 at Phillack church from 10am till 4pm daily. There will be a raffle, tree tombola and refreshments available.
Come and enjoy a mince pie and see the beautiful trees.
CHRISTMAS CHOIR CONCERT:
This Sunday December 20 at 7pm in Phillack church there will be a live performance by Heyl St Piran Singers, Hayle Hand Bells Ringers and
the choir from Connor Down School. Refreshments available. All welcome.
PHILLACK CHURCH:
Christmas services:
Sunday, December 20 at 9.15am carol service and baptism
Christmas Eve at 4pm crib service then at 11.30pm Midnight mass
Christmas Day at 9.15am holy communion
ST.JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, HAYLE:
St Joseph's Church in Hayle is part of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Family. Mass was said on Saturday December 12 at 6.30 pm with readings from Zephaniah - Philippians and gospel by Luke.
There will be Mass on Friday December 18 at 10am at St. Josephs Hayle.
Donate a flower for a loved one, mass will be offered for the repose of their souls. See Stella Wear at church.
Mass of the Vigil on Christmas Eve at 6.30pm in St Joseph’s church.
The parish dinner will be at the Carbis Bay Hotel on Friday January 22 2016.
