Residents and businesses are being invited to find out more about Cornwall Council's planning policy at a meeting next week. The meeting takes place on Monday September 28 between 5.30pm and 7.00pm at Hayle Community School.

The September meeting of the Hayle and St Ives Community Network Panel planned for next week, will see several councillors in attendance

Hayle Royal British Legion needs your help, we are trying to raise the most Poppy Appeal money in history to support our ex service personal. Join Shirley's army of collectors by giving 2 hours of your time to stand at a static point and collect giving out poppies. If you can help, join us at the Passmore Edwards Institute at 7pm on Tuesday 20th October for our Poppy Launch including a small buffet. Please let me know here if you are prepared to give 2 hours and will be at the launch. Thanks. Clive Polkinghorne chair.
