A30 partially blocked and queueing traffic following two-car crash in Cornwall - updates

The A30 in Loggans has been partially blocked following a two car crash earlier this morning (June 22). Reports of the accident on at the B3301 Cawin Rise came in at around 8:15am.

Roads and traffic monitoring website, Inrix, says: "A30 partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved at B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout)."

It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the crash. Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for more information.

Devon and Cornwall Police statement

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "This was a collision between a car and an HGV on the A30 at Loggans, Hayle. It was reported to us at 8.10am today, June 22.

"Ambulance attended. One woman [car driver] sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital to be checked over. Road clear by 10.15am."

Inrix says: "A30 partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved at B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout)."
