Ofcom has ranked every swear word in the English language in order of offensiveness. The communications regulator tallied the results from interviews with more than 200 people across the UK on how offensive they found an array of rude and offensive words and insults.
People were asked their opinion on 150 words in total. These included general swear words, words linked to race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, body parts and health...

Brass band musician Robert Jose from Camborne jumped from cliffs...
The mother of a talented musician and bowler who jumped from cliffs at Hell's Mouth said she still cannot understand why her son took the decision to end his life, an inquest heard.
The hearing in Truro was told how hugely popular Robert Jose, 43, from Camborne, killed himself on the night of December 21 last year in what seemed to be a spontaneous but deliberate act.

Warning issued to Cornwall business owners after teens use...
A warning has been sent out to business owners in Cornwall after reports of teenagers using counterfeit notes.
Devon and Cornwall Police officers say they have been contacted with information relating to similar cases in two busy tourist hotspots.

A mystery body found on Exmoor 15 years ago may be that of a man from the Bude area according to police who are launching a new national appeal to help identify him.
Officers from Avon and Somerset Police say there is evidence to suggest the man suffered a violent assault before his death, some time between 1999 and 2000.
