Football fans in Cornwall are in for a treat this weekend as the Premier League trophy arrives in the county.
Visitors to Newquay will be able to catch a glimpse of the genuine trophy at the town's library on Marcus Hill on Saturday (June 3).

Sharp-eyed lookouts called rescuers to the aid of a family who were drifting in a dingy off St Ives.
The alarm was raised by volunteers of the National Coastwatch Institution at St Ives who spotted the motorboat, which was apparently in trouble, with two adults and two children on board. They called Falmouth coastguards who in turn alerted the St Ives RNLI lifeboat crew.

A dog had to be rescued by firefighters after it got stuck down a rabbit hole near Launceston.
At about 10pm on Tuesday the pet entered a rabbit hole at St Giles on the Heath and got stuck inside. Its owner called the emergency services and crews from Callington fire station were mobilised to assist them.

Two years of roadworks on the A30 near Temple will be concluded soon - bringing an end to misery for thousands of Cornish motorists and visitors to Cornwall.
