  • Just to keep everyone informed. Last Thursday a huge digger arrived on South Quay to start the digging for the Carnsew Sluice gates. Hopefully next week we will publish some photos.
    The quay wall repairs hopefully will start within a month.
    The supermarket is progressing well and at the moment the developers haven't encountered any major problems, the supermarket is on schedule.
    Regarding the consultation for future ownership of the Harbour and associated land, a response from Cornwall Council is still awaited. HHT are ready to go.
    HHT are working tirelessly in new designs, new partners including CC, and the community to make Hayle the designation town which it should be. Clive Polkinghorne
