Four Weekly Green Waste Collection

This is the day to put out garden waste and brown corrugated cardboard for recycling.
The recycling centre at Splattenridden can, in a matter of a few weeks, turn this waste into compost which is then sold on a wholesale basis.
Plant material which is from invasive species cannot be collected: Japanese Knotweed for example must be destroyed on the site where it is cut down.
The waste should be put in unwanted brown cardboard boxes or, failing that, in plastic sacks.

Angarrack Christmas Lights Committee Meeting at the Community Centre (postponed from 10th March)
Public Meeting | Phase 1 Hayle Harbour

There will be a public meeting on ING's detailed planning application for Phase 1 at Hayle Harbour, on Tuesday March 17 at 7:15pm, at Hayle Community School.
The evening will feature a presentation from ING and their representatives about proposals for North Quay, including repairs to the North and East Quay harbour walls; the new bridge, access road and promenade, and the proposed infrastructure for employment space and fishermen's facilities.
The session will finish with a question and answer session, and an update on the outline planning application.
Everyone is welcome.

These are the outline planning application for all phases of the development, the detailed planning application for Phase I infrastructure works and the listed building applications. Venue: St. John's Hall, Penzance. 7pm. |

Mobile Library

The mobile library stops at Angarrack Post Box fortnightly on Mondays (except Bank Holidays).
It's free to join the Mobile Library, and there is no fine if you are overdue with your books.
There is a lift for disabled persons. Well worth a visit.
