200702 | Fatal Collision - St Erth Hayle Cornwall | Devon and Cornwall Police

At approximately 1125hrs on Thursday 2nd July 2020 Police received a report of a collision involving a pedal cyclist and a heavy goods vehicle on Station Approach, St Erth, near Hayle, Cornwall.

The cyclist, a 71 year old male, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed in both directions whilst the scene was examined by a specialist forensic collision investigator.

Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or have dash camera footage, to contact police, quoting the log number 338 02/07/20.
