Hayle Growth Area Concept Plan Consultation

To support the development of the Concept Plan Hayle Town Council and
Cornwall Council would like your input.
A 6-week public consultation is running from
29 June to 10 August 2020.

All documents and more information regarding the consultation can be

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to offer the documents for
viewing at locations within the town at this time.
If you have any question about the document or do not have access to
internet, please call 0300 1234 151 and ask to speak to a member of the
Delivery Team who will be able to help.


 

 


Hayle Town Council and Cornwall Council are preparing a concept plan that focuses on an area south of Hayle, taking a proactive approach to how it believes development in this area should come forward.

The development of this concept plan has involved Town Councillors, landowners, residents and Cornwall Council and has been amended to reflect feedback received during a public consultation in September and October 2019.

To further support the development of the concept plan, Hayle Town Council and Cornwall Council would like your input, which can help the final document during a 6-week public consultation from 29 June to 10 August 2020.

Documents

A Story Map has been prepared which contains photos and illustrations, and highlights the main points of the Summary document.

The Story Map and Summary document are the main consultation documents which should be referred to (the Technical Document is more detailed and contains further maps).

 

Hayle Concept Plan: Technical document. This is a large document and has been split into sections. The sections contain plans and diagrams which may take some time to open.

Next Steps

The concept plan will be finalised, taking into consideration comments raised in the consultation. Hayle Town Council and Cornwall Council will then adopt the plan. It will be used to inform and assist the determining of any planning applications within the development area.
