Harvey’s Foundry Trust Needs YOU!
Submitted by Angarrack.info ... on Mon, 01/04/2013 - 00:00.
After 10 years of hard work Harvey’s Foundry Trust is in a position to support a heritage and cultural centre in Hayle.
We have a great design team on board and with the support of our board members and local historian Brian Sullivan we are ready to take this exciting development forward.
The centre will tell the story of the history of Hayle through a core exhibition that will be free and open to the public as well as exhibitions, events, summer workshops for the kids and guided walks and tours around Hayle.
The centre will be based in John Harvey House on Foundry Square.
We are looking for volunteers to help run the centre, no matter what age or experience as long as you have a passion for history and your town.
We are looking for people to fulfil a wide range of roles from tour guides, assistants with schools workshops, researchers and PR, Web design and IT to administrative tasks such as fundraising.
It does not matter how much or how little time you can give it will all be much appreciated!
If you are interested in getting involved please call Laura Christon on 017367 757683 or email her at laura@harveysfoundrytrust.org.uk
